My
artistic goal has been to create images that upift the spirit and make visual
music which sings to the soul. My art is in private and public collections. In
Bloomington, Indiana, my work can be seen in the Wandering Turtle Gallery, By
Hand Gallery. "Peace Words", an open book, hangs in the Indiana University
Fine Arts Library as part of their extensive artist books collection. All of my
work is dedicated to peacemaking and to those who have inspired me to continue
creating through the various mediums I am moved to work within. If

Wigwam
Project
approximately 12' X 8'

The
wigwam Project is a bent sapling structure made with the help of myyoungest daughter
and some of her friends. We followed instructions that I found in a native crafts
books over a dozen years ago. It was a lot of fun, and hot sweaty work cutting
the trees and striping away the bark. I
thought we would make a canvas cover for it, but, it doesn't look like it. The
structure is into it's third winter now and is still pretty stable, considering
that a small tree fell on it. | | UPDATE
- Well, we never got a cover on it, and this winter a tree fell on it, and I may
get a picture of it up sometime. | | Return
