What
would you do if you knew you couldn't fail? "Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful
beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We
ask ourselves: "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? "
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small
doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other
people won't feel insecure around you..... We are all meant to shine, as children
do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not
just in some of us; it's in every one..... And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give others the permission to do the same. As we're liberated
from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others. " Marianne
Williamson - 'A Return To Love' 1992 | "Reiki
ni Rei, Sensei ni Rei, Otagai ni Rei." [
"Bow to the Reiki , bow to your teacher, bow to your fellow students"
] By bowing you
are expressing respect, courtesy, and gratitude to your art, your teacher,
other students, and yourself. Ultimately,
you are acknowledging the 'Blessing' you hold - the 'Light Gift' that is within
each of you - the "Sacred Potential - for Healing, Protection and Spiritual
Development" that is: 'the Reiki Phenomenon' .. | | |
| Who
is this Reiki Practitioner? | | I
am only one But still I am one. I cannot do everything, But still I can
do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to
do the something that I can do. Edward Everette Hale | | Hello,
I am Reiki/Seichim Master Patricia C. Coleman, and I am available to provide Reiki
Healing Ministry services in the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki tradition locally and
at a distance. Please contact me, for an appointment. Read our class and workshop
schedule for other program offerings and to find out how you can bring one of
our healing arts workshop presentations to your group. | | I
have been actively involved in holistic education since 1981 as an artist presenter,
storyteller, instructor and workshop coordinator and facilitator. Through my creative
work, I have been featured in galleries, museums, arts, and women's centers, libraries,
on radio, and in television. | | I
am a long-time member of the Bloomington Storytellers Guild, a member of the 5
Women Poets Writers Workshop which in 2004 produced the CD "Diamond Celebration"
30 years of 5 Women Poets, current hostess/producer of the Runcible Spoon Poetry
Series, and Founder of Green Dove Network, Inc. and its projects the Indiana Holistic
Health Network which facilitates the wellness expo "Creating Healthy Sustainable
Communities", the Local Food Network. I am also on the Board of the Center
for Sustainable Living. | I
have been an active spiritual healing student off and on since 1972 often pursuing
my studies independently in the area of pranic healing, laying on of hands and
in explorations into the feel and sight of the aura. I received my first energy
awakening with an Indian Swami and Kundalini Master in 1975 and Reiki Level I
attunement in 1995, and became a Certified Reiki and Seichem Master to provide
a Reiki Healing Ministry in 2005. At different times I also explored healing stones
and dream work. It was in 1981 that a friend and I began an active energy exploration
that centered on healing in through the aura. This became the foundation for my
work as an Aura Balancer. I am an ordained Minister of the Universal Life Church
and currently a Worship Associate and Chalice Circle Group Leader at the Unitarian
Universalist Church, Bloomington, a student of yoga, and Reiki with an interest
in Zen Buddhism. | Beginning
in 1972 I turned my energy work into creating a variety of art pieces. My intention
was and has always been to uplift the viewer and to convey a sense of well being
through my creations. Most of my intention is now turned toward my Reiki Healing
Ministry, but I continue to create custom healing items and images specific to
individual request. | Parallel to
my work with energy and creative arts, I have held an ongoing interest in edible
landscaping, permaculture, organic and sustainable agricultural practices since
around 1976 beginning with studies of indigenous agriculture and seed saving,
and have participated in, and facilitated workshops that range from seed starting
to seed saving and various aspects of herb and food preservation.
